Introducing a New Banned Books Club for Kids

The African American Heritage Association is thrilled to announce the launch of the I Read Banned Books reading club for children. The Heritage Association implemented this club in an effort to combat the limiting of books by the state and school system. We believe that every child deserves uncensored and unlimited access to the books and stories that have the power to start conversations and expand horizons. The I Read Banned Books kickoff meeting for all grades will take place in mid-October 2023.
